Hawaii will always be a special place for Helena and Steve. They met in 2007 while visiting for a friend's wedding and were introduced during a dinner outing at Duke's in Waikiki. At the time, Helena was studying in London and Steve was just finishing his residency at NYU, but they continued to keep in touch through email. After a couple months of emailing Helena planned a trip to visit her cousin in New York, Helena met up with Steve and they hit it off and it was then that they knew they were meant to be together and like they say the rest is history.
